Makes 12 servings
50 calories per strawberry
Ingredients:
½ cup light whipped cream cheese (tub style)
½ cup nonfat cream cheese (really have to whip well to get the lumps out)
3 tablespoons granulated no-calorie sweetener (or 4 packets)
1/8 teaspoon lemon zest (needs to be very fine)
2 drops of almond extract
½ cup light whipped topping, thawed
12 large whole strawberries (hulled and bottoms cut off so they will stand up)
Chocolate wafer cookies or graham crackers (crushed and use to sprinkle on top)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together then whip by hand or with a mixer.
Transfer to a pastry bag with a1/2-inch tip or in a zip-top bag cutting a small hole in the corner for piping.
Refrigerate. Top with crush cookie when ready to serve.
These can be assembled 6 hours before serving.
