Alpine Cuvée Pinot Noir, 2016 -93 rating
Assertive aromas of cherry, spice, fertile earth, and rock quarry. Welcome charge of juicy black cherry fruit framed by modest tannins and a touch of toasty oak. Satiny in mouthfeel, with a pleasingly luscious cherry finish.
Llewellyn Cuvée Pinot Noir, 2016 – 93 rating
Wonderfully perfumed with scents of red cherry, cranberry, strawberry, and spice cabinet. Juicy and bright in a middleweight style featuring plenty of unctuous red fruit flavors annotated with spice and framed by suede tannins.
Mary’s Peak Pinot Noir, 2018 – 94 rating
Dark red cherry reduction, poached plum and forest timber. Light to mid-weight in style but packed with cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruit flavors that engage and expand on the palate. There is a subtle underbelly of oak and dried herbs, and some appealing spice shows up on the very long finish.
